"I want to review my Mortgage"

Are you paying more for your mortgage than you need to?   Many existing borrowers are, and it's part of our job to help our clients to obtain the best mortgage for their particular situation.  It's quite normal for lenders to offer an initial "deal" to attract new business, but less normal for them to offer an attractive new "deal" to follow on when the original rate runs out, when typically the monthly payment will sharply increase.  Having said this, in recent times some lenders have realised that they are losing too many customers in this way, and are trying to retain exisiting borrowers by offering follow-on "deals". The question is, how competitive is any new "deal" being offered, and is it worth changing to a new lender?  The Mortgage Company Limited has the know-how and the technology to determine the best course of action for our clients, following a full fact-finding process.

The end of a "deal" (fixed rate, discounted, etc.) also represents an opportunity to review your entire mortgage and/or other borrowing situation, and possibly to raise more capital from the equity in your home to fund home improvements or other major purchases.

It isn't necessarily the case that you would need to wait until the end of an initial rate to check that you are still borrowing at the best possible rate.  Even if Early Repayment Charges apply to your existing mortgage, it may be possible to obtain a rate so much better that it can make sense to change even at the expense of Early Repayment Charges.  As you would expect, we would not recommend any such change without clear and compelling evidence that it is the right thing to do.

Why not let us carry out a Mortgage Health Check free of charge so that you can be sure that you are borrowing at the best rate possible for you?  Even if it's not the right thing to change now, we will dairise a time to re-contact you (subject to your permission) to review your mortgage at a more appropriate time.
